Born and raised in Germany, I attended secondary school there and studied communication design. I have lived and worked in Switzerland for over 25 years.
My students benefit from my firm grasp of "standard high German" and also my knowledge of regional variants of German in Switzerland.

I am didactically and methodically qualified to teach adults (SVEB1 from the Swiss Association for Adult Education).
In 2016, I qualified as a "Language Course Leader in the Area of Migration". This additional certification confirms that I am qualified to teach according to FIDE (a future-oriented teaching concept developed by Switzerland's Office for Migration).
In 2008, I obtained the Certificate of Advanced Studies in book design from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and I developed a concept for a bilingual book.
I develop and improve my professional skills on a regular basis.
I have enjoyed teaching German as a foreign language/second language since 2013. In 2016, I opened my own school.
I also proofread texts and have worked as a ghost-writer.
Languages, reading and travel are my passions. In addition to German, I speak English, French and Spanish, and I love meeting people from different cultural backgrounds.
